Russian Tea Cakes (Dessert)

One of my oldest recipes, but I don't know who gave it to me.

Ingredients

Amount Units Ingredient
1 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup pecans

Directions

Cream butter and sugar and vanilla in medium bowl till light and fluffy.

Add flour and beat just till well mixed. Stir in finely chopped nuts.

Chill for 1 hour.

Roll into 1 inch balls and bake at 350˚ for 15 minutes.

When cool, roll in powdered sugar.

Yields 3 dozen.

I also use this recipe for the crust in my PecanTarts.
